Statement of Faith
To tell you my story is to tell you of Jesus.
It would be my greatest honor to take your hand, introduce you, and walk you through how to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and how have a personal relationship with Him.
God revealed His plan of salvation in the Holy Bible.
I believe the Holy Bible is the Word of God — without error — spoken to mankind.
I believe that the Godhead exists in three persons — God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
I believe that Jesus Christ came down from Heaven, was born of a virgin, and lived a perfect life so we could know what God was like. He was mocked and crucified, hung on a cross to pay the price for the sins of mankind, and then rose from the dead three days later. He is our intercessor to God the Father.
Jesus Christ purchased our redemption through His death and resurrection.
His offer of salvation is available to all who believe and receive.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received by faith in Christ alone.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation involves recognizing that you are a sinner and repenting from your sin, confessing with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
Salvation is received through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. All who receive Him are changed by the Holy Spirit and literally are born again. They become children of God and receive eternal life with God.
because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (ESV)
The choice is yours.
There are two choices in this life. One is to receive the gift of salvation that leads to eternal life and a home in heaven. The other is to reject God’s offer of salvation, leading to everlasting punishment for unbelievers in hell.
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20
“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Matthew 25:46
For those who have not yet believed, is today the day to loosen your grip on the world and reach out to receive the salvation Jesus offers? He is also calling you to act, to accept His gift of eternal life, and to experience life to the full.
Prayer of Salvation
Jesus, thank You for suffering for us, redeeming us from our sins. Thank you for Your perfect plan. I admit that I am a sinner and in need of your grace. I believe that You (Jesus) are the Son of God, lived a sinless life, shed your blood on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead.
I humbly ask You to forgive me of my sins and receive me as a child of God. I make the decision to make You Lord of my life.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
In John 10:10, Jesus reminds us that the thief comes to steal and kill and destroy. That same enemy wants to steal our joy . . . to rob us of the gift of knowing Jesus Christ. He wants to destroy our faith and have us feel hopeless and bound. He wants us to experience feelings of negativity, including doubt that God really loves us.
Jesus is tenderly calling your name. With Him, you can live with joy again. You can live your life to its fullest.
My friend, Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the beginning and the end. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus wants to set us free and give us an abundant, full life. And what a thrill it will be to someday see Him face to face.
